well  my thermaltake 6cu did fine, hardly any noise, you could try one of those ... strange thing is that the 6cu and 11 cooled at about the same i might just tke out my Tt volcano 11 and replace it with the 6cu but then again its not going to look as good as the Tt volcano 11 will.

and the pads that i was trying to use dont work so .... that was a $5 out of my pocket rather than $15-20.. and the comment towards water cooling .. ive thought about it .. but then again i dont know much about it, nor am i willing to spen $150-200 for a kit

the easiest way to quiet components inside your case is with sound absortion matting. just doesnt work well for case surface mounted fans

well ive seen people use mouse pads and other stuff but how well does it really work, with a Tt volcano 11 in general.. i mean if it really stops the fan noise ill buy some kit, but from what ive tested out vibration wise and stuff like that nothing helps..

the stealth fans go about 55dB's at least the ones ive seen at work, while the Tt volcano 11 is 48dB's max

edit: we just got some of the tornado's in at work so i get them cheaper. so no need to worry about price, but i dont see why ... well i dont see how they can call them stealth when they run at 55dB's and the volcano 11 its 48dB's ..
