I'm right now abut half way through the game. Trust me, it's WAY better than GTA3. You got boats, planes, helicoptors, tanks, and apaches, all readily available. Excellent graphics, ans great sound. This game owns.

They put a lot of work into this one!

HAhaha Buy GTA Vice City??? Why buy it when u can rip off people who spend hard time and money creating it??? Jus goto www.kazza.com download there software and BAM download GTA Vice City and start playing the game for free! Haha like who actually goes out and buys a game when u can just steal it????

Uh dude, number 1 rule of bragging about the software you've pirated.  Don't do it on a public forum!

number 2 rule of bragging about the software you've pirated.  Don't mention Kazza or any other peer-to-peer crap program in the same post.

peer-to-peer crap like kazza is for kiddies.  Believe me, saying you use it to pirate software is NOT cool.

I have only gotten as far as killing the pizza delivery guy, but i've been playing long.  Just driving around getting to know the map (btw, the "you are here" map is a great idea), looking for hidden packages.  what's with the hidden packages anyway?  before it was like a coke pack.  now it's some sort of aztec idol green statue thingy.  anyway, Try doing taxi missions.  people really go from one side of the island to the next.  pretty long drive.

I'll try to post some screenies of my own.  maybe pushing a motorbike towards some people :D

yeah i thought the idol was wierd too.  getting them is supposed to give you things like armor pickups in hotels and stuff like that. not sure exactly but it's like 'collect 10 and get this pickup here, collect 20 and get this pickup over here' type of thing.

what "you are here" map?

i love all the extra stuff in this game!!!!!  this is prolly one of my top 5 games ever, just because of all the extra stuff you can do. (and mainly because of being able to buy parts of the town.)  you were just a lacky in GTA3... but Vice City lets' you TAKE OVER! :)

when you're playing, go to the menu and you'll see "map".  it will show the whole vice city overview with the places you've discovered marked like on your small map at the bottom left.  And there's a big arrow showing, "you are here".

I've picked up 8 packages so far.  I wanna see what the first 10 would give.  I don't want to read any walkthroughs yet.

The map's also nice in that it points out your targets too... so if you have to go somewhere you can pull it up and plan a route or something.

Hey, anyone know when you can buy the strip club by the hotel in the begining of the game? I just killed Diaz and it still won't let me... and I wanna see what's in there! :)

I also thought it was cool how they flaunted the new features so much. I think the first 5 or so missions you get to use most of them.. motorcycle, smashing a car, changing clothes, all that good stuff.
