so now u say photographs arent art?  did you take the pic?  and can you prove that somebody didnt draw that in a cad/paint program?  please tell me which part of this u dont understand...

I didn't just add text.  Irregardless, you're not in charge, so mind your own business.  Theres a difference between taking a picture of a dremel and editing it and taking artwork and editing it.

which part of what i pasted above arent you understanding?....  you downloaded that pic off the net(this means that you cannot take an image or background off of the web) and edited it, whether you just added text, used photoshop or wrote on it with crayons... and it makes no difference if i am in charge or not i can speak my mind  and do tell  what is the difference between taking a picture of a dremel and editing it and taking artwork and editing it.

Pardon me Mr. Lawyer, but I don't NEED legal rights to that picture.  It is not a work of art, it is an advertisement, a picture of a product I happen to own myself, not that that even matters.  I am not using the picture for profit so I am immune from copyright laws, so you shove off.  It's not like I'm the only person who is using a picture of a dremel in one of their backgrounds.  Why don't you look around.  And stop spelling my name wrong.

Please take this fight off the board and into pm's. As for my entry with the dremel in it, if GideonX feels it violates copyright laws he ( or any other admin ) can feel free to remove it and i'll know why. You both need to calm down a bit, and consider the fact that you are harshly arguing about a picture of a dremel. Take a few minute breather and come back. Also MaverikV, I would talk to GideonX about it. If he feels it's inappropritae, remove it. If not then the choice is yours.
