Putting Plexi in the back of case

If you take the cover off a steel or aluminum case and remove everything you will notice the strongest part of the frame is the back of the case. If you chisil that out (Not literally) you will remove a major part of the structure and could weaken the case. This would be OK if you are not taking it  to LAN parties or plan on moving it alot. Plus what will you hang the PSU from? PSU is heavy and thin Plexi will crack under its weight.
Just a consideration, it might work fine. Tell us and show us pics of your progress
