a hammer works wonders Smile,
but i would recommend a different fan for this mod. after all, the main reason most people buy a panaflow is because they are quiet and when you get leds spinning that fast the air resistance is going to make a horrid noise.
imho, youd be best off getting a cheaper fan and installing it in a hole thats easy to see (bezel, blowhole) then doing the mod and connecting the fan to a baybus for when you want the neon powered up.

The air resistance is nothing to worry about when it comes to noise in this mod BELIEVE me...  Smile
