My concern with any closed container would be moisture buildup.  For your application, you'll want something that's impermeable to water, resistant to thermal stress, heat conductive, electrically insulative, formable, and UV resistant.  I don't know if that exists.

well i read about some other peoples desgins and found some crazy ass networker god that works for sprint.... anyway he made a pvc capsule(sp?) and left a hole in the bottom so no water would build up and covered it with some sorda pad to keep things like bugs out...
