In OSX, any bluetooth device that is connected will show its remaining battery life. There are also widgets/apps like Mighty Monitor that will display this information in a clean, intuitive way.

I have a bluetooth keyboard/mouse setup on a new win7 box, and for the life of me I simply can't find any way to have it show the battery life of said devices. Windows doesn't seem to offer this by default, and I haven't been able to find an app that will do this.

Anyone have any leads or ideas?

If you are using a Logitech, you can always try their Win 7 Gadgets:

They aren't Logitech, but I'll still give it a try!

Thanks Ed!

Its the Pollinator!

Seems like the logitech apps verify you have proper logitech devices connected. I found some guys talking about implementing something like this for rainmeter, but haven't found anything actually out there.

Hey, a Logitech KB/mouse combo will be much more than the setup I got now. This setup cost me a whopping $30...

Scored this mouse more than a year ago, and it still works flawlessly on any device I've tried it on. And it works on every surface I've thrown it on, even glass. Resolution is on par my with my chicks Magic mouse.

Then I recently scored a Rocketfish keyboard off zhe bay. Was kind of hesitant of the brand, but I'm truly impressed with the quality so far. Seems like they sold for about 3x what I paid.

All paired to a $1.99 no-name BT2.0 dongle.

Also, This little app kicks ass! Lets you setup and configure hotkeys for volume and whatnot...

I guess cheap can be TOO cheap...

The mouse crapped out on me right after posting this thread, and the company replaced it.

Replacement just died on me too. Guess its time to invest in a quality mouse?  WTF?
