Unlocking the 4th core was successful. Oc'd to 3.2Ghz with 16x multiplier as well.

This Gigabyte MA790X-UD4P mobo makes it too damn easy

Thumbs Up

Nice.  Run Prime 95 on that for a burn-in yet?

Doing it at the moment. This Mushkin Blackline 1066 isn't playing very nice with Prime95.

Just curious, what's the rest of the PC?

Gigabyte MA790X-UD4P
Phenom II X3 720
Mushkin Blackline DDR2 1066 2x2GB
Geforce OC'd 9600GSO 768MB

Some HDs here and there Wink

It can not complete Prime95 without erroring out at 1066. At 800, it crunches it without a problem. Grrrr aggravating.

Return it then if you still can.  It's obviously not operating to spec.  (You have it running at the recommend voltage I'm assuming.)

Yup, exactly as they stated.

I just ran Memtest on one of the sticks, 70 errors at 1066/5-5-5-15. Bah!
