I make horrible temporary use machines out of what is in reach...

This wonderful beast is a old Gateway w/ a 700mhz Celeron, 128mb pc100. the first AGP video card I could find (ASUS something or other), Intel 10/100 NIC (I'm not really sure why I put it in), a generic (Sabrent, I think) ATA133 IDE controller. and a Lite-On 52x CD-RW drive. The only thing of value is the Antec Tru Power (I think it is in the 500w range) PSU

The 4 drives are 3 WD's (80gb, 100gb and 160gb) and a Hitachi Deskstar 160gb. They are in the process of single blanking run in DBAN just so I can make sure they all still work. As of this post they only have 14 hours to go!

It was quite a feat to get all of the cables tangled in a way that would support and reach the drives at the same time LOL

Way back when I lived at my parents house I used to have my 2nd computer set up like that. Starting it up with a screw driver. or other metallic object to jump the pins.
