Review: EDGE DiskGO 160GB Network HDD

Now before you go and say "oh no, not another enclosure review", this one has something that most barebones HDD enclosures don't. It has the ability to be networked directly from your switch or router without needing a host machine. So essentially you plug this into your switch (or router) and everyone on your network has access to this drive which is useful in many ways.

i'm confused...
how noisy is it? (fans, drives)
what does it look like inside? (easy to mod?)
what brand of drive is inside?
how hot does it get?
is there a way to use it without the app? (i am not installing more crap)
what is the disk format? (ntfs?)
are the usb ports on the back just for adding storage to it, or can they also be used to plug the diskgo into the computer directly?
after reading the review it didnt sound like an easy setup to me...

Noise - none except when the drive spins up which is a slight "whirrr".
Brand - the case does not open, unless I break it which I'm not about to do.
Inside - See Brand.
Heat - slightly warm to the touch, nothing to worry about.
Without app - I didn't use the app since it didn't work.
Disk format - CIFS
USB - used just to expand with more drives

It's an easy setup, I had it up and running in about 5 mins after plugging it in. Windows is even easier, probably like half that time

Annoying! I was wondering why my HDD was running out of space until I saw their folders >_< No worries, my sis still doesn't know how to connect to the network printer.
