On the review block for today is the Consus D-Series dual SATA hard drive external storage system from Eagle Tech. The D-Series has the ablity to use JBOD (Just a Bunch Of Disks) spanning to combine your odd sized disk drives into one larger drive, or you can run it plain old RAID 0.

When I read it wasn't RAID 1 I was kind of , but the array I want to back up is 4 500GB drives in RAID 5 which formatted comes out to 1.36TB.  I just want to be able to back it up every once and a while, disconnect the drive, and store it somewhere.  RAID 5 is safe enough for my storage, but since the PC is on the net and acts as a server I
have to fear that someone may be able to hack it some day.

Oh, and this is post #2 for me, it even comes with a new IP address.
