Review: Vizo miniNinja Laptop Cooler

Over a year ago I looked at the Ninja Laptop Cooler from Vizo which scored decent marks. Today I received the miniNinja from Vizo. This is pretty much a smaller version of the Ninja, hence the name. It's still an aluminum laptop cooler with two quiet fans that help move the heat away from your laptop. It also angles the laptop a bit to help ease the strain on your wrist. So how does it hold up to it's older brother?

My laptop cooler is a roll of duct tape that props the back of the laptop up ~2".  The laptop is more than cool enough with this method, no need for fans.  It doesn't rock back and forth either.  Best of all, when you need duct tape it's right there.

Just wait until the computer gets hot, and the adhesive on the tape starts to warm up / melt / get all over the place. Not that I would know or anything...

It's cute! But am I the only one who likes their laptop flat? One of the reasons why I can't find a proper aluminum laptop cooler pad is because most of them are angled. The ones that aren't end up being too bulky! I think I need to learn how to use a CNC machine and make my own aluminum cooler Wink

Good review, though -- I might get this one for my dad.
