Hey,

I recently bought the logitech z5500. It arrived dead so I checked everything and found that the fuse in the subwoofer had blown (not the power cable fuse). I tried my flatmates fuse (he has another logitech set up) and it powered up on a 1.6amp.

The subwoofer is rated T2AH250V  2amp time delay. Im struggling to find one of these where I live but I can order something similar online. The fuse it came with was ceramic but the closest I can get is a quick blow ceramic 2amp, I can however get a glass fuse time delayed 2amp. Question is whats the difference between glass and ceramic? Will glass over ceramic make any difference at all? Whats the advantage of one over another?

Thanks for any info Smile

(sorry you might want to move this to electronics, wasnt paying attention)

As long as you replace the fuse with the same time delay (quick vs. slow blow) and the same amperage, you should be allright.
