          Can we attach a hard disk to a dvd player to watch movies from hard disk.

It's a lot more complex than just "attaching a hard disc to a DVD player" though,

I'm surprised nobody's made a fancy "movie appliance" that will rip the discs you insert and keep them on a menu though.

I am thinking that he was wanting to add a HDD to a over the counter DVD player.

A PVR system would be one that would work but the HTPC would be what fits his over all goals.

ya i just use that good ol thing called blockbuster mail Smile   3 dvds at a time, back in the mailbox in 2 hours..
