Review: Lapworks Laptop Legs

Quote
I have an old Dell Latitude laptop that I use for wireless access and Linux distro testing. I've never bothered to use this laptop for prolonged periods of time because it was just difficult to type on. Strangely enough, this laptop did not come with any kind of legs on the under-side to prop it up. So when you are typing, it's always straining your wrist just a little bit to get you annoyed. The folks at Lapworks are trying to fix that; one tiny leg at a time.

I've never tought of it being a problem that my laptop has no inclination in it. I used to use keyboards inclined but then stopped for some reason, so I got used to my laptop real quickly. And as for the ventilation issue, there's only one vent, on the left hand side of the case on my laptop. It only ever get's really hot when I game, but then again, Centrino's aren't really meant to be gaming machines. But I'll keep them in mind for future reference Wink

funny, i have used that exact laptop for pretty much days on end before and never noticed any problem
of course, this might have something to do with the fact that i never, ever use those tilty things on my keyboard
those do seem like cool inventions though since nobody has thought of it yet

I don't need that much of an incline for typing as well, but I sometimes prop my laptop up because the bottom gets too hot. Great product idea. Why didn't I think of that... >.<
