Here's the next update. Here are two shots with the drive cage and PSU installed:   This is with the MB installed, I putting in a DigiDoc 5+ those two colored wires coming out the front are the sensors wires for the CPU, one next to the core and the other on the back of the MB under the cpu.   The next update will be of the finished case, It will have a full window to show off my work  |

Its comming along well. To be honest, normally I pretty much dismiss most mods done to Xasor/Chieftec/Antec/Whateverthef*** style cases simply becaue they are the most common out there. It always seems to be the same thing. A window, some nifty lighting. However, I think what you're doing is unique. Oh, and err, nice washer and dryer  |

Oh, and err, nice washer and dryer Thanks, had to clear my work bench for two computer builds. I do like the washer and dryer, but can't get my wife to go with the idea of paint, lights and window kit's for them  ... and she told me if I overclocked them she would kill me |

Whirlpool makes good stuff, that's what we use at my house.... Oh back to the mod, that is fricking sick. I have been in the market for one of those cases, but they are expensive, and seeings how you can mod the easy to get Chieftec/Antec/Chenming/whatchamacallit into a case that look's better and has the same functionality, I think I will look into this more. Keep us updated.
Also do you plan on using paxmat for the case like the LL, or do you not really care about the noise?

Thank you all for your great comments. The finished case and pic will be posted Thursday morning. It took me forever to get my DigiDoc 5+ installed, they are a wiring nightmare. But now I can read temps from all areas of the case

You may run into one problem if your clearances aren't correct: I'd check it soon if i were you. ben that wont be a problem.... 5.25 inches the mobo sits pretty much flush against the case he will be fine. |

You may run into one problem if your clearances aren't correct: I'd check it soon if i were you. ben I have all ready test fitted drives. First slot has DigiDoc 5+, I shortened the frame on it. Second slot has the Burner and it does over lap the MB a bit but their is clearance for the drive. The next slot has enough clearance too. The last I'm using a shortened 5.25 adaptor for a floppy drive so no problem there. All was double checked before I ever started. And... before you say it... yes I need a floppy, I'm a tech and work on older computer. Edit: Good God you guys are fast, ty supergluemann & AzNPrideBoy |
