i was wondering what is the most efficient zipping porgram around.  i need to make something that is about 5mb to about half that.  does anyone have any suggestions?

winRAR

Different things zip differently, for example, an MP3 or a heavily compressed video will not zip or RAR nearly as good as a .txt file made in notepad will,

does this powerpoint have images imbedded? if so, what kinds of images?
you probably wont be able to make it that small, but try your luck and see

it does have imiges that i shrunk to alot lower resolution.  it's better now, i got it down to 2mb.

use winrar that is one of the best ones out there

use winrar and use the spanned set and the just pick the size you want each file to be
