THe whole point of a fan on top is to remove hot air that RISES so bringing cold air from the top would just become warm air defeating the purpose, it would be like putting a couple of gig of ram with a 500mhz cpu pointless. On the bottem i never thought of there defenitly will think about it thou

Read it again. It makes sense.

The whole point of having a fan on top is to remove hot air that RISES. So bringing cold air in from the top would just become warm air. thus defeating the purpose. It would be like putting a couple of gigs of ram with a 500mhz cpu. Pointless. On the bottom.... I never thought of there. Defenitly will think about it though.

Does that make more sense?

The biggest problem with putting an intake on the top of the case is how you PSU will exaust the air. IF you psu is sucking air in from the front and blwoign it ou thte back of the PSU, wich is the common. THen sucking air in fromt eh top it woudl be sucke dinto teh psu and out the back and the bottom of you case woudl get no air.  You really want the intake and exhaust to be on oppisit end of your case (i.e. top and bottom, or front and back)  That way you will get the air moving thru then entire case rather then small loops.
