POS drive. Mine runs horribly. I have to restart whenever I want to burn something, mostly because the drive simply will not open, or wont read that there is a CDR present. This is my warning to whoever buys this drive

It works fine for the first few weeks, then it dies.

this is my opinion, and Im left with this damn thing.

***it is a bargain at 25$ after rebate though  Smile***

Some of the Cendyne drives are actually Lite-On's too.....gotta look for the model # on the box, or something....

 Eek!

Thats exactly what ive got. ive had it for about....4 months??? not really sure. but i love it, no problems, ive messed up about oh, 5 cds out of 100, which is great.  i never have any problems with doing heavy multitasking, and it failing.
mine works fine, is really quite, i cant hear it atleast.
my average cd burning is 1min - 2 min 10 seconds.  just depending oon how much im burning.

i recomend it.

I've had the drive since november of last year. I've used it a lot.... sometimes 10 cds per day...with an average of 100 cd's in a month..well I guess that isn't being used as much as my other cdrw drive. I haven't had any problem with it so far. I have even done quite a few overburning. The only complain is I can't do multitasking very much while I'm burning. That's my main complain. Otherwise...for $10 dollar I can't complain.
